My neighbor wasn't able to get to his shop last night because the police had roads and everything blocked off. He went in this morning to discover absolutely everything stolen.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Wheels, tires, tools, parts. You name it, all looted. His business has been there for close to 30 years and he'd never had any type of problem until the riots last night.

He cleaned everything up and loaded whatever was left in the place into his trailer which is now sitting in his driveway.

He boarded up the windows and is now waiting to sort things out with his insurance company. I'm sure that's going to be a nightmare for him.

I couldn't make it out there to help clean up because I got scheduled for work. I have the day off tomorrow so I think I'll head out there if he needs any help.

I can't even begin to comprehend the idea of looting and rioting for this cause. Do people really think acting like animals helps prove their point? Do they really think committing more recent crime is going to solve their problem? Do they not realize they are making this a bigger deal than what they are rioting over? Do they not realize they are essentially helping the police cover it up, by giving them more things to do?

What the fuck?? Did they all watch The Purge or something?? Just goes to show that some people will find an excuse for anything they see and use it as righteous retribution. Just dumb as hell. I genuinely hope that all of them get what's coming to them.

Stupid, just absolutely fucking stupid.

Tell me what looting a dozen or more businesses and fucking BURNING DOWN A CONVENIENCE STORE has to do with grieving over a kid.

Man, that sucks. Unless it was a different tire & wheel shop, I saw it on the news today. The Global reporter was on location, standing right in front of a boarded-up shop with only a Lexani sign visible. There was an Auto Zone across the street.

I missed the news report, but it was Zisser Tire and Auto. Most likely his shop you saw.

Ya St. Louis was something like The Purge last night without a doubt.

They used some poor kid's death as an excuse to steal shit. It's outrageous.

I'm sorry to hear that... This whole situation is ridiculous.

I mean sure, grieve for the kid and his family; sympathize with the family. But I'm damn sure they didn't say "pillage the village for our lost son!". I think I have the right to say that those people are some of the scum of the earth really. Turning a tragedy into a riot and greed filled nightmare; sickening.

It was on a Canadian network, so I wouldn't expect you'd have seen it. Yep, it is the same place. The Taco Bell looked like it was boarded up as well.

Sorry to hear man. I think I sawz your neighbour up in some footage about the event there was a white guy sweeping in front of an automotive store.

Hope the insurance is generous, but they might not be, my insurance for example excludes damage related to acts of war, or damage caused by civil unrest.

Ya there's a good chance the guy you saw was my neighbor.

I'm sure insurance is going to be a nightmare. I hope they pay out well so he can get back in business soon.
